FHS DECA Sends 15 Students to National Competition
Freehold High School had 76 students compete at the New Jersey DECA State Conference in Atlantic City at the end of February. The school left the conference with 15 national qualifiers who will compete in Anaheim, California in April.
In addition, juniors Nicholas Kaufman and Kevin McIlvaine were elected to serve as New Jersey DECA state officers for the 2017-2018 school year. Nick will serve as the state recording secretary and Kevin will serve as the Central Region Vice President. Senior Lindsey Bertone was award a $1,000 DECA regional scholarship.
